Vision is an artificial being in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
Created by Ultron from vibranium and powered by the Mind Stone, Vision was intended to be Ultron's perfect form. However, the Avengers intervened, and Tony Stark and Bruce Banner uploaded J.A.R.V.I.S. into Vision's body. This resulted in Vision becoming a powerful ally of the Avengers, possessing superhuman strength, speed, density control, and the ability to project energy beams.
Vision's existence is inextricably linked to the Mind Stone, which resided in his forehead. This made him a target for Thanos, who sought all the Infinity Stones. Vision developed a romantic relationship with Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, before his death at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). However, a version of Vision, rebuilt and reprogrammed, later appears in the Disney+ series WandaVision.
